Types of acne
Acne We Treat
Acne is not one condition, and the right first appointment depends on which kind is on your skin. All of these respond to the same three tools — extractions, LED and HydraFacial — applied in different proportions.
- Cystic acne
- Deep, tender breakouts under the skin. LED calms the inflammation; nothing cystic is ever squeezed.
- Hormonal breakouts
- Flares that track your cycle. Regular LED with periodic extractions keeps them shorter and shallower.
- Adult acne
- Breakouts that arrived, or came back, well past your teens — usually congestion plus oil, treated in that order.
- Blackheads & congestion
- Clogged pores that nothing at home reaches. An hour of professional extractions clears them by hand.
- Back & chest acne
- Large areas, cleared with HydraFacial's vortex tip first, then LED and the Back Facial for maintenance.
- Teen acne
- Its own gentler protocol, on its own page — built for skin that is still changing.
- Post-acne marks
- Discoloration and texture left behind, resurfaced once breakouts are under control.
Treating a teenager? There is a dedicated page for teen acne facials — gentler protocol, built for skin that is still changing.

What actually works
Three Visits, Three Tools, One Plan
Acne clears when you empty the pores, calm the bacteria, and keep the skin from re-congesting — three different jobs, three different treatments. The Acne Clear Program books one of each, spaced about two weeks apart.
- 1
The clear-out · 60 min
Blackhead Removal Facial
A full hour of professional extractions after steam and softening prep. This is the clear-out — blackheads, whiteheads and congestion removed by hand, properly, so nothing is left behind to become next month's breakout.
- 2
The calm-down · 50 min
Acne Treatment with LED Celluma
Blue-light LED that targets the bacteria driving active breakouts — no heat, no peeling, no downtime. The treatment that works on the acne you can feel coming, not just the congestion already there.
- 3
The reset · 40 min
HydraFacial Regular
Vortex extraction and infusion in one pass — it deep-cleans every pore and hydrates as it goes, so skin that has been treated for acne stops overproducing oil to compensate.
- Booked singly
- $475
- As the program
- $450
All three treatments · valid 365 days

Every price is what you pay at the desk, and every button books that exact treatment. Not sure which to start with? Book any of them — the first ten minutes of every visit is an assessment, and we will tell you honestly if a different treatment fits better.

Your First Acne Treatment Visit
Whichever treatment you book, the visit runs the same way: a look first, prep second, and the tool that matches what we found. Nothing is sold to you in the chair.
- 1
A ten-minute assessment
The first ten minutes of every visit is a look at what your skin is doing — which kind of acne, where, and how long it has been there. No consultation fee, and we will tell you honestly if a different treatment fits better than the one you booked.
- 2
Steam and softening prep
Skin is cleansed and steamed so congestion loosens before anyone touches it. That prep does most of the work of making extractions comfortable — you feel pressure rather than pain.
- 3
The treatment you booked
Extractions by hand, blue-light LED, or the HydraFacial vortex — the tool that matches what we found. Anything cystic gets LED, never squeezed.
- 4
A plan for the next visit
You leave knowing what to use at home and when to come back. The program spaces visits about two weeks apart, and the same person sees you each time.

Results timeline
When You See Results
Acne responds to a sequence, not to any single appointment — which is why the program is three visits rather than one, and why the honest answer to “how long?” has three parts.
Visit 1
The clear-out
You see it immediately — that is what extractions do. Some redness for a few hours afterwards is normal and settles by the next morning.
Visits 2–3 · two weeks apart
Fewer, smaller breakouts
Breakout frequency takes longer than congestion. Three visits about two weeks apart is where most people notice new spots coming in smaller and less often.
After the program
Maintenance, then marks
Many guests continue with a monthly LED or HydraFacial. Marks and texture are a resurfacing job, for once breakouts are controlled.

The same hands each visit
Who Treats You
Acne work here is done by Olga, our aesthetician, and Halina. Both do extractions and LED, and Olga performs the HydraFacials. You see the same person for all three program visits — which matters more for acne than for anything else on our menu, because the plan only works if someone is tracking what your skin did last time.
- Olga
- Halina
- No consultation fee
- The assessment happens in the chair at your first visit, not on a separate paid appointment.
- Honest about dermatologists
- For mild to moderate acne, treatments alone are often enough. For severe or scarring acne we will say so — the strongest plan is usually both.
- Nothing cystic is squeezed
- Extractions clear congestion; anything inflamed gets LED instead. Which tool goes where is decided at the assessment, not by the menu.
- Desk prices, no surprises
- Every price on this page is what you pay, and every button books that exact treatment.

Beyond the face
Body Acne, Marks & Scars
Back, Chest & Body Acne
Body acne is more stubborn than facial acne and covers far more area, which is why hand extractions alone are the wrong tool for a first clear-out. We use HydraFacial — its vortex tip extracts by suction and clears a full back in one visit — then LED sessions and the 30-minute Back Facial for maintenance.
After the Acne: Marks & Scars
Once breakouts are controlled, what is left is texture and discoloration — and those are resurfacing jobs, not acne jobs. Microdermabrasion ($170) polishes shallow marks, chemical peels work on deeper discoloration, and indented scarring calls for microneedling over several sessions. We will tell you which — and, just as usefully, when your skin is ready for it.

Acne Treatment FAQs
How much does acne treatment cost in Denver?
At LNO Boutique a single session runs $100–$240 depending on the treatment: LED Celluma is $100, an hour of extractions is $135, and a HydraFacial is $240. The Acne Clear Program bundles one of each — the full clear-out sequence — for $450 instead of $475. No consultation fee: the assessment happens in the chair at your first visit.
What should I expect at my first acne treatment?
A ten-minute look at what your skin is doing, then cleanse, steam and softening prep, then the treatment you booked — extractions by hand, blue-light LED, or the HydraFacial vortex, whichever matches what we found. You leave knowing what to use at home and when to come back. If a different treatment fits better than the one you booked, we say so at the start, not at the desk.
Do you treat cystic acne?
Yes, with honest limits. LED Celluma calms the bacteria and inflammation that feed cystic breakouts, and extractions keep the surrounding congestion from making things worse — but deep cystic acne sometimes also needs a dermatologist's prescription. Plenty of our guests do both: medication from their derm, treatments here to clear the surface faster.
What about hormonal acne?
Hormonal breakouts respond well to consistency — regular LED sessions with periodic extractions keep flares shorter and shallower even though the hormonal driver stays. That is exactly what the 3-visit program is for, and many guests continue with a monthly LED or HydraFacial afterwards.
How is this different from seeing a dermatologist?
A dermatologist prescribes — antibiotics, retinoids, Accutane. We physically clear the skin: extractions, LED and HydraFacial do work no prescription does, and no prescription empties a clogged pore. For mild to moderate acne, treatments alone are often enough; for severe or scarring acne, the strongest plan is usually both.
How many treatments until I see results?
You see the clear-out immediately — that is what extractions do. Breakout frequency takes longer, which is the point of the program: three visits about two weeks apart is where most people notice new spots coming in smaller and less often. Acne responds to a sequence, not to any single appointment.
Do you treat back and chest acne?
Yes. The Back Facial ($90) handles maintenance, and for a first clear-out of a full back or chest we use HydraFacial — its vortex tip covers a large area far faster than hand extractions. Body acne is stubborn, so the usual plan is HydraFacial first, then LED to keep it down.
Can you remove acne scars?
Marks and texture, yes — Microdermabrasion ($170) resurfaces post-acne marks, and chemical peels go deeper on discoloration. Indented scars need microneedling over several sessions. All of it works best once active breakouts are controlled, which is why the program comes first.
